WAYPOINT KIDS

At Waypoint, we believe kids matter! Our goal is to help children discover the joy of following Jesus through engaging worship, fun activities, and meaningful Bible stories—all while partnering with parents as they raise their kids in faith.

Waypoint Kids is available during our 10am service for children ages 6 months through 5th grade. If you’re visiting for the first time, please arrive 10 minutes early to register your child.

Our youth join the main Sunday service and gather for Youth Group every Sunday evening at 6pm

FAQs

/ What you can expect to happen in a typical Waypoint Sunday gathering?

Our Sunday services last about 65 minutes and are designed to be welcoming for everyone. You’ll experience powerful music, creative moments like art or spoken word, and a practical, thought-provoking message from the Bible. Communion is available for anyone who would like to participate, and you’re free to worship in the way that feels most comfortable to you.

/ What happens when I visit for the first time on a Sunday?

We have a special parking spot just for first-time guests! Come early to grab a free cup of coffee and get settled before service begins at 10 AM. Many people like to arrive about 15 minutes early to park, enjoy coffee, and find their seat in the Worship Center.

/ What happens in Waypoint Kids?

At Waypoint, we believe church should be the best hour of your child’s week—and that’s exactly what we aim for in Waypoint Kids! Every Sunday, kids experience fun, interactive activities that help them learn about Jesus in ways they’ll always remember.

Safety is our top priority. We use a secure check-in process for every child, so if it’s your first time, plan to arrive about 10 minutes early to get signed in.

Waypoint Kids is available during our 10:00 AM service for infants through 5th grade.

/ Do you offer small groups?

At Waypoint, we believe discipleship happens best in circles, not just rows. That’s why our Waypoint Groups—small groups meeting across the Rohnert Park area—are the heartbeat of our church.

In these groups, life gets real, relationships deepen, and faith is lived out together. Most groups meet weekly in a leader’s home with about 12 people, creating space for authentic conversation, prayer, and growth.

Our Groups open each Spring and Fall. If you can’t find a group right away, let us know—we’d love to help you get connected!

/ What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable—whether that’s jeans and a t-shirt or your Sunday best. At Waypoint, you can come as you are and expect to be welcomed like family.
